अक्षरायन स्कूल ऑफ़ कैलिग्राफी में अक्षर केवल लिखे नहीं जाते, वे साँस लेते हैं, जीते हैं, भावों की धड़कन बन जाते हैं। भाई राजीवजी चौधरी की उँगलियों से निकली हर रेखा कला का एक नया अध्याय रच देती है। सादे से अक्षरों में भी वे ऐसा अद्भुत सौंदर्य भर देते हैं, मानो रेखाएँ नहीं, प्रकाश की धाराएँ बह रही हों। अक्षरायन सचमुच लेखन–कला का एक पवित्र आँगन है, जहाँ सीखना साधना बन जाता है और हर विद्यार्थी अपने भीतर छिपे कलाकार से रूबरू हो जाता है।
अक्षरायनचे श्री. राजीव चौधरी यांना मी गेले कित्येक वर्षांपासून ओळखतो. माझे वडील स्वतः चित्रकार असल्यामुळे कलाकारांविषयी माझ्या मनात विशेष जिव्हाळा आहे, आणि त्यामुळेच राजीवजींबद्दल आपुलकीची भावना अधिकच दृढ झाली आहे.
ते अत्यंत संवेदनशील आणि मनस्वी कलाकार आहेत. कॅलिग्राफी हा त्यांचा आवडीचा आणि साधनेचा विषय आहे. फावल्या वेळात आपल्या पत्नीसह “विष्णूजी की रसोई” येथे विद्यार्थ्यांना अक्षरांचे धडे देणे ही त्यांची सामाजिक बांधिलकी कौतुकास्पद आहे.
अयोध्येत प्रभू श्रीरामांच्या मंदिराच्या उद्घाटनावेळेस आम्ही 8000 किलो शिरा प्रसादासाठी तयार केला होता. त्याच वेळी राजीवजींनी 80 फूट लांबीचे रामायण सुबकपणे कॅनव्हास वर चित्रीत करून तिथे पाठविले होते. ही घटना त्यांच्या कलाविष्काराची आणि भक्तिभावाची प्रतीक आहे.
